CARING FOR OUR COMMUNITY

At bennett and jones Dental Care, being a part of the community that we serve is something that we take very seriously. Living and working in Kokomo, Dr. Bennett and Dr. Jones, have always felt very strongly about giving back to the community that our patients come from.

go red for women
Heart disease in women requires more attention, more research and swifter action. That’s why, from hitting the books to taking it to the Hill, Go Red for Women provides many opportunities for women everywhere to learn the facts about heart disease. Bennett & Jones is thrilled to support GO RED FOR WOMEN! Take care and love your heart! Get active, control cholesterol, eat better, manage blood pressure, lose weight, reduce blood sugar, and stop smoking - Life's simple 7 from The American Heart Association.

Nadege

Thanks to all that attended #BreakfastWithSanta at Oakbrook Church! All proceeds go to Nadege, inc. to restore hope to survivors of sexual violence in Haiti! We are proud to sponsor this event.

Locally, we have provided hundreds of thousands of dollars of charitable dental care since our start in Kokomo Kokomo YMCA Donationthrough Project Access' Dentist Delivering Smiles, and through a state dental program for patients with disabilities, Donated Dental Services of Indiana, a part of the Dental Lifeline Network.

Recently Bennett and Jones Dental Care steps up with a matching grant for Kokomo Family YMCA’s annual capital campaign. All donations given through November 1 from first-time donors will be matched $2 for every $1 given and any increase in giving from returning 2016 donors will be matched dollar for dollar up to $6,000 total in the Double The Smiles grant. Double your donation here!

We also support the Literacy Coalition, Carver Community Center, Winding Creek Festival, Kokomo Civic Theater, Community Concert Series, Howard County Humane Society, Bona Vista, Acacia Academy, United Way, and many more over the years.

Through local church and local charity affiliations we provide care for employees and their families at reduced fees. We live and work in Howard County and try to know the needs of our community and give back when and where we can.

Helping in HondurasInternationally, we support missionaries by providing their dental treatment while they are home on furlough.

Dr. Bennett has traveled to Haiti and Honduras over the past several years to provide dental care in these developing countries. He and his family traveled to a school in Honduras to provide dental care for students and employees. To the left are photographs of a student who needed extractions, fillings, a root canal, and a partial to replace a missing front tooth – all completed in 4 days!

Dr. Bennett has continued his good work in Haiti and Honduras with three total trips and six years serving on Project 117 founding board. This group recently completed a school for children in Haiti. Read his story here!

From all of us to all of you - our Gratitude Scavenger Hunt was a way to say “Thank You” to our community!  Teams spread out across Kokomo to says thanks to local nonprofits and city employees in this office event appreciating what a great city we live in!
